1. What AirStaff is
AirStaff is workforce time-tracking software: a desktop agent that records tracked time, activity levels, periodic screenshots and app/site usage for staff who have accepted a monitoring notice, and a dashboard where the employer views that data.
2. Accounts and roles
The organisation that creates an account (the "Customer") is responsible for everyone it invites (owners, admins, managers, staff) and for keeping credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be authorised to act for the Customer.
3. Lawful monitoring is the Customer's responsibility
AirStaff records staff activity only after the staff member accepts a monitoring notice, and enforces jurisdiction-based notice periods (e.g. 14 days in NSW, Australia). However, workplace-surveillance law varies by jurisdiction, and the Customer is solely responsible for ensuring its use of AirStaff is lawful for each staff member's location, including any additional notice, consultation or consent requirements beyond what AirStaff enforces.
4. Lifetime deal licences
- A lifetime licence code grants the stated seat allowance for the life of the AirStaff product, meaning for as long as we commercially operate AirStaff — not for the life of the purchaser.
- Codes are stackable; the redeemed code count sets the tier. Seat add-ons (one-time packs and monthly seats) supplement the tier.
- A "seat" is a member actively tracked in a calendar month. Deactivated members free their seat the following month.
- We may revoke codes obtained fraudulently or refunded.
5. Payments and refunds
- Direct purchases are processed by Stripe. Marketplace purchases (e.g. AppSumo) are governed by the marketplace's payment and refund terms; refunds processed by a marketplace automatically revoke the corresponding code.
- Direct-purchase refunds: within 60 days of purchase, on request.
- Monthly add-ons cancel at the end of the billing period.
6. Acceptable use
No use of AirStaff to: monitor people who have not accepted the monitoring notice; break any law; probe, overload or attack the service; resell or white-label without written agreement; upload malicious code.
7. Customer data
The Customer owns its data. We process staff monitoring data on the Customer's behalf under the Monitoring & Data Processing Annex, which forms part of these terms. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage statistics to operate and improve the service.
8. Service, changes and availability
The service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantee at this tier. We may modify features provided we do not materially reduce the core value of a lifetime licence (time tracking, screenshots, reports). We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.
9. Termination and deletion
The Customer may delete its account at any time; data is purged within 30 days per the Privacy Policy. We may terminate for material breach. Sections that by nature survive (liability, disputes) survive termination.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose non-excludable guarantees are not affected): our aggregate liability is capped at the amount the Customer paid in the 12 months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for employment decisions the Customer makes using AirStaff data.
11. Governing law
New South Wales, Australia.
12. Changes to these terms
We'll notify account owners of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
